Hur använder du dig av det fotografiska mediet?
I’m doing staged studio self-portraits and still-lives, but also some documentary-historical-landscape side-projects and some assignment portraits.
På vilket sätt har den tekniska utvecklingen inom mediet påverkat dig och ditt sätt att arbeta?
At the moment I’m using digital camera as polaroids. I’m still using film but then scanning the negatives. This is, because I’m doing large prints (100 x 125 cm). but it’s just a matter of time when I’m completely changing to digital photography. I’m also retouching the images in photoshop but in a way that it just looks natural. So far I’ve tried to doo all the ”manipulation” in the studio.
Hur tror du det fotografiska mediet kommer att utvecklas? Hur ser du på din framtid som fotograf?
Everything will be digital no more c-prints or film. The advance of peoples skills in using Photoshop will develop photography more into the direction of drawing and painting or early 20th century illustration/airbrush.
